| We performed the Phonics Dance at Assembly. |

| Everyone was nervous, but they had fun. |

| We played a trading game that reinforced counting by 5s and reinforced exchanging. Players rolled a die and took that number of beans. They traded 5 beans for a plank of beans (5 beans glued on a stick), and then they traded 5 planks for a raft (5 planks glued together). It was a fun game! |

| We started our Growing unit. |

| Everyone wrote and drew what they already know about how things grow. |
