During writing stations, students searched the room for farm animal pictures. Once they found a picture, they entered the animal name into their dictionary on the appropriate page. We didn't find any 'j' animals words, but they wrote the word 'dog' on the Dd page.
We also sorted our farm-themed pictures. Ask your KC kid about the sorting and how we decided which picture goes into which circle.
