5 Senses ~ What Is It?

We had fun with all of our senses today.  At this station, the kids shook bottles to try and tell what was inside.  The bottles contained water, rice, beads, coins, sand and a bell.

This station was sorting smells.  The smells were Doritos, coffee, mints, chocolate, rose petals and perfume.

 This was a touching station.  The kids had to put the pieces in the correct spot while blindfolded.

This was a tasting station.  Some things were yummy and some were not.  You'll have to ask which items were good.

We also read some fun books where we had to guess a mystery picture.  We enjoyed these books so much that we made our own mystery books.  One book is below.

The hidden picture is golden, and we can see a small part of it.

 When we open the book, we can see that it is a bottle of lotion.  Everyone made wonderful mystery books.

We ended our day with a mystery treat -- ask your child about it.  (hint - it is white and fluffy)
